Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Conducts screening and intake of potential clients
• Provides holistic legal representation on cases dealing with domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, and cases of victims, with a focus on immigration, family law, housing, and public benefits.
• Advises IPV survivors on holistic legal issues as needed
• Conduct training with community organizations working with immigrant populations.
• Assists in grant writing
• Assists in completing reports
• Participates in the evaluation of activities
• Maintains accurate documentation and case records
• Attends relevant training to maintain legal skills

 Education:

• Must possess a J.D. from an accredited university. 

Experience:

• Experience working with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, preferably around family law issues. 
• Michigan Bar member in good standing.

Special requirements, qualifications, Licenses or certifications:

• Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan.
